AYUMI Blouse

A stroll through Tokyo’s Takeshita street inspired me to create this blouse. Its modern yukata or day-kimono cutting is hand embellished with beads, faux rhinestones and seashells to recreate the sun over Japan. Arranged in irregular patterns, which seem to be done almost in random represent the crowd of people shoving itself through one of the most colorful streets I have ever seen.

I have named this design AYUMI in loving memory of the sister of my grandma. It can be combined with a Sarong as seen in this picture or short pants.
